Burning Inside

Keeping quiet with a smile as a mask

Wander on the streets of the life

May not let the world know, what I am going through

Bottle up the ocean inside and you will see me as happy as I could

As you cannot read my mind, is it necessary for you to feel that

I don’t understand what life is all about

Ain’t my heart feels the pain just like you do?

Am I not as human as you are?

Tried with the life’s path, the scorching sun sucking out my soul

Thorns are everywhere along the path

Couldn’t be there for a friend as lost her to the death’s bed

Nothing was in my hand, but the pain was something I didn’t share

You may had your share , but how can you say that

Only you know what Friendship is all about

Ain’t my heart feels the pain just like you do?

Am I not as human as you are?

Tossing and tumbling over the bed thinking where we went wrong

Can’t live your life, all I can do is help you make it go right

Don’t know do you realize how much you hurt the silly heart so bad

Cover this unseen scar with a smile

May be I know why now the difference in the way we think

May be I know better what life is all about

May be my heart feels more pain than you do

May be I am more human than you are!!!

Funeral

The mourning and wailing
Of the dear ones, all through day and night
Sobbing heartbroken at the loss of a life
Come all sort of people to share the pain
There are the cries of guilt
There are the cries of pain
And there are some special ones
Who cry for fake
Some don’t know how to react
Or how to console
Some stand in silence
Wonder what they think
Some are busy greeting others
And sharing the happenings of their lives
After the funeral everyone goes away
Only a few stay to help in the daily chores
People move on with their lives
This is what we all are worth
In a moment everything ends
Only a few would remain there to remember us
And really regret the loss
